Deb writes freelance for a variety of publications, keeps revising a manuscript for the first book in a Middle Level kid's series and writes poetry. She will also write employee handbooks, policies and procedures manuals, and just about anything else you need written, if you ask her nicely. And pay her.
Deb knows that writing, like hiking mountains, begins with that most important first step. Writing that first word, like hiking that first step, leads us on a journey and, ultimately, to our destination.
Crafting words, sentences and paragraphs into a well-written piece or professional presentation requires a variety of attributes including skills, knowledge, experience, talent, commitment and confidence.
Deb also uses these attributes when floating off a cornice on a mountain ridge onto the gleaming snowfield below.
